Cops: An angry public is calling for an end to an investigation into the death of a police officer who was shot in the head. The incident happened around 10 pm local time on Tuesday in El Paso County. Police Chief LS said it was a “tragic” case that could have been avoided if officers did not shoot the suspect in the head. No charges were filed and S urged citizens to stay calm and follow the leads of the investigating officer. Meanwhile, police are investigating a possible suicide attempt at a police station this morning that resulted in the death of a 43-year-old man.
